He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Leak Johnson and Sam Johnson; and his uncle Ingram. He is survived by: his aunts, Julia M. Liles and Alberta Lampley of Chicago, Illinois; his great-aunt Sarah Frances Oates (R. V.) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Annie Liles, Veta Liles, Jannie Liles, Mary Liles of Wadesboro, NC, Howard Liles (Connie), Samuel Liles and Anthony Liles of Wadesboro, NC.. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
