She is survived by: her husband Roger Barnes; her children, Derek Barnes of Wallingford and Jennifer Lohmann (Andrew Palladino) of Johnson, Vermont; her siblings, Richard Shippy, Buddy Shippy (Mary Ann), Deborah Brandt (John) of West Haven and Donna MacNeil of West Haven; and her grandchildren, Amanda and Brenden Lohmann of Meriden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
