She was predeceased by: her husband William Stender; and her parents, Bertram Self and Doris Self (Becroft). She is survived by: her children, Dee Cavanna (Barry) and Linda Roberto (Joe); her grandchildren, Michele Santoro (Louis), Kim Baldini, Jason Iannotti (Sage Vogel) and Christina Roberto; her great grandchildren, Cassandra, Georgia, Berlin and Mila; and her great great grandchild Salvatore.

It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to Gallery 53, 53 Colony St., Meriden.
