She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Shirley Babbitt Ricard and Armand Ricard; her sons, Jonathan (Jennifer) of Washington, D. C. and Stephen (Melissa) of Barrington, R. I.; her grandchildren, Samuel and Cecilia Wakely of Washington, D. C.; and her daughter Wakely.
