He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric Adams and Bernice Adams; his former wife Ginney Sue Ridgway; and his brothers, David Adams and Cedric Adams II.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Rhea Adams; his sons, Stephen [Bonnie], Mark [Tyler], Kent [Mandy] and Scott [Anne]; and his grandchildren, Adlon, Charles, Julia, Olivia, Lilia, Connor, Ruby, Blake and Elle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to: Adams Neurosciences Center Building Fund Adams Neuroscience Center Building, World Vision World Vision.
