He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurele Barre and Alice Caliento (Gamache); his son Lewis A. Barre Jr.; and his sister Eva Mae DiDomizio. He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Barre (Bell); his daughters, Brenda Kimberly (John) of New Milford, Donna Giuffre (Steven) of Bethlehem, Lisa Fraser (Neil) of Bethlehem, Debra Lynn (James) of Oakville, Sandra Higgins (Forrest) of Orrington, ME and Linda Tanuis; and his brother Wayne Caliento (Phyllis). He is also survived by his twenty-three grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
