It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jeanette Corbett of Woodbury, Connecticut, born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louella Covill (Benedict) and Louis J. Covill Jr.; her husband Raymond Harold Corbett; and her siblings, Lois, Jane and Louis.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Corbett, Dolly Istvan of Goshen, John and Pam Corbett of Chapel Hill, NC.; and her grandchildren, Jason, Kristen Corbett, Alex Istvan (Kent), Mark Corbett (Middletown) and Brian Corbett (Chicago). She is also survived by several great grand-children, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Congregational Church of New Fairfield in Doris' memory.
