He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Birdsall and Louise Birdsall (Oliver); and his son David A. Birdsall. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Birdsall; his daughters, Nancy Perrett of Wyoming and Kathleen Birdsall of Virginia; his siblings, Warren Birdsall (Bobby) of Watertown and Barbara Crosby of Prospect; his siblings-in-law, Donald Curtiss (Anne) of Watertown and Kathy Rasmussen (Eddie) of Watertown; and his friend Lee Dudley of Bethlehem. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
