He is survived by: his children, Stephen Root, Keith Root of Woodbury, Duane Root of Terryville and Rebecca Root Cross of Bethlehem; and his grandchildren, Stephen Root, Nicole Root, Sarah Root, Matthew Root, Brian Root, Michael Lynch and Kelly Morales. He is also survived by wife, his children and grandchildren.
