He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Richey and Margaret Richey of Woodbridge, CT; his wife Susan; his son Kevin Richey (Deborah); his grandsons, Colin and Isaac of Christiansburg, VA; and his great grandchild Christopher Richey of Homer, Alaska..
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033).
After retiring he volunteered for The Diabetes Foundation, organizing cycling fundraisers.
