He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertrand Oliver and Ella Stickney DeForest of Derby, CT.; his wife Helen Sexton DeForest; and his brother Bertrand O. DeForest, Jr. of Southbury, CT. He is survived by: his children, Susan DeForest of Hopkinton, NH, Margaret DeForest Sterrett of Jupiter, FL and John DeForest of Terryville, CT; his children-in-law, Robin Moore, James Sterrett and Jennifer DeForest; and his grandchildren, Christopher and Kaitlin DeForest.
