He was predeceased by: his parents, Yiannis Tambacologos and Edifili Tambacologos (Souvatzidakis); his siblings, Fotini Efraimides (Yiorgos), Dimitri (Yiota) and Pandeli Tambacologos; and his brother-in-law James Tommaselli.
He is survived by: his wife Nanne (Anastasia); his children, John, Thomas and Penelope; his grandchildren, Taylor, Carlos, Chelsea, Benjamin, Evangelos (Elis) and Anastasia; his siblings-in-law, Catherine Tommaselli and Mathew Jennett (Sheila); and also Greece.
Donations in his memory may be made to St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church.
