She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacquelyn Penn Griffin and Raymond Griffin; her grandparents, Leola Chambers Penn and Edgar Thomas Penn; her uncle Edgar Robert Penn; and her grandparents, Lee Presley and Birdie Griffin.

She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Taylor-Morgan Griffin of Boston, MA. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
