He is survived by: his sons, Kelly Maynard Olmstead (Janet) of Terryville and Kirt Preston Olmstead (Cheryl) of Wolcott; his grandsons, Jamie Preston Olmstead (Robin) of North Carolina and Kraig William Olmstead of Bristol; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Leah Olmstead of Wolcott; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie, Alicia and Buddy; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Andrew; his siblings, Marie Malm of South Carolina and Wendell Olmstead of Plymouth; and his close friend Arlene Grasso.
