We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 101, Mary E. Swanson of Wolcott, Connecticut, born in Plantsville, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary E. Swanson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Skutt and Mary Skutt (Slahtovsky); her son Charles M. Swanson; her siblings, Paul, William Skutt, Joan Jasmin, Jean George and Rita Skutt; and her grandson Christopher Swanson.

She is survived by: her spouse Alsoph F. "Bud" Swanson; her daughter Victoria Buins (Gary) of Wolcott, CT; her sister Barbara Monroe of Torrington, CT; her granddaughters, Amy Conway (Michael) and Katie Gualducci (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Brianna Dugan, Mikayla Conway and Dex Gualducci. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's name may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
