She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Valerio and Mary Valerio (Wolcott); and her sister Ruth Valerio of Ohio. She is survived by: her siblings, Nicholas Valerio and Rosemary Duncan (Valerio) of Florida; her husband Richard; her daughter Terri Lee Badum; her son-in-law Rudolph Badum; her grandsons, Christopher, Sean and Mark (Nicholas); and her pet Maggie.
