Linda P. Friis Obituary
The memory of Linda P. Friis (Wolcott, Connecticut), who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce D. Friis; her parents, John Blodgett and Patricia Blodgett (Shugrue); and her siblings, Laurie Blodgett and Keith Blodgett.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca (Waldy Ventura); her grandchildren, Maya and Elijah Ventura; her son Anthony (Kayleigh Goldberg); her grandchildren, Ryleigh and Harper; her stepchildren, Christine Friis Hirshberg and Jody Friis; her sister Diane Aguzzi; and her nieces and nephews, Sandra, Jackie and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodtick Memorial (420 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Monetary contributions may also be made to be placed in a CD for her two beloved grandchildren, who were her entire world.
