He is survived by: his wife Kit of Wolcott; his mother Louise of Waterbury; his daughters, Valerie Whynall (Scott) of Madison, Stephanie Varanelli (Adam Lattimore) of Washington, DC and Alexandra Varanelli (Eric Hoyt) of Wallingford; his stepsons, Paul Casey of Waterbury and Tim Casey of Oakville; his siblings, Nicholas Varanelli (Fran) of Middlebury, Antoinette Towle (Dana) of Waterbury, Thomas Varanelli (Holly) of Riverton, Maria McCoy (Bob) of Watertown, Patty Burgess (Jeff) of Waterbury and Joanne Varanelli of Waterbury; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Whynall, Dylan, Tyler, Logan and Quinn Casey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Out of respect to the family, it is asked that those coming to the funeral home, and or the funeral mass to wear a mask.
