We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2021, at the age of 75, John Gentile Sr. of Wolcott, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Gentile of Waterbury and Virginia Gentile (Faltarusso) of Brooklyn, N. Y.; his wife Mercedes Gentile; his children, John Gentile, Jr. (Lisa) of Wolcott, Jodi Gentile (Robert Deschenes) of Torrington and Julia Gentile of Wolcott; his grandsons, Anthony Delvalle, Cole Gentile, Myles Gentile and Dominic Deschenes; his nieces and nephews, Joseph, William, Kaitlin and Emily; his brothers, Joseph Gentile II (Antoinette) of Wolcott and James A. Gentile (Martha) of Wolcott; and his mother-in-law Nelida M. Diaz of Waterbury.

In lieu of flower, memorial contributions can be madein John's memory to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
