It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John A. Recchia Jr. of Wolcott, Connecticut, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Recchia, Sr. and Mary A. Recchia (Kotcho); and his sister Janet Gugliotti. He is survived by: his wife Evon Recchia (DeSantis); his daughter Christine Docimo of Prospect; his grandchildren, Taylor Marie Docimo and Vincent Giovanni Docimo; and his sister Mary Ann Vinca (Amet) of New Jersey.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial - Fitzgerald Zembruski (240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
