It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Polowitzer (Wolcott, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Nancy Robillard; and her niece Bonnie Rabtoy. She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence Rousseau; her husband Donald Polowitzer; her daughter Lucienne Marsella (Chuck); her sister Marilyn Robillard; her nephew William Rabtoy; her niece Lauren Lombardi; and her aunt Geri Coulson. She is also survived by many other family members including nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Department, Company 1 395 Central Ave. Wolcott, CT 06716.

We shared our love of crafts and then antiques, shared good times and hard, laughter always, our growing families and her treasured granddaughters. Generous, loving, the dearest friend and the greatest loss. Our entire family from Colorado to Ohio and in Connecticut sends sympathy and love to her family and she will live on in our hearts forever.”
