Joan C. O'Brien Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan C. O'Brien of Wolcott, Connecticut, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan C. O'Brien to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ward and Catherine Ward (Caporale); her son Michael; and her brother Ralph Ward. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" O'Brien, Jr.; her children, Christopher O'Brien, Mary O'Brien and Patrick O'Brien (Marina O'Brien); her grandsons, Filip and Stefan O'Brien; her daughter-in-law Tara O'Brien; and her siblings, Steve Ward and Barbara Ward. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her youngest son, Michael, preceded her in death early in the COVID pandemic, a loss she carried with grace and profound faith that she will see him again when her own time came.
