He was predeceased by: his former wife Frances Fairchild (Beliveau); his parents, James M. Fairchild and Jeannette Fairchild (Gaudette); and his sons, Jimmy, Tracey and George.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Ruginis, Roseann Robinson and Grace Hassenfeldt; his daughter-in-law Lori Fairchild; and his wife Fran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
