He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Christoff (Jennette); his parents, John Christoff and Mary Christoff (Sabalouskas); and his siblings, John Christoff, Norman Christoff, Anthony Christoff and Rosemary Christoff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Christoff of Wolcott and Wendy Strollo (Michael) of Milford; his sister Elizabeth Christoff of Waterbury; his grandsons, Joseph and Nicholas Strollo; and his sisters-in-law, Lucille Affhauser, June Christoff and Barbara Christoff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
