We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Carmela Filippone of Wolcott, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Lucas and Rose Lucas (Disapio); her husband Anthony X. Filippone; and her siblings, Martha Traonetta and Phillip Lucas, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Denise Taravella (Mark) and Anthony F. Filippone; and her brother Michael Lucas (Barbara). She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
