She is survived by: her spouse Angel Velastegui of Shelton; her parents, Pacifico Ruiz and Filomena Boada of Ecuador; her children, Lizbeth Garcia (Luis) of Shelton and Angelo Velastegui (Fernanda) of Wolcott; her siblings, Marco Boada (Cecilia) of Ecuador, Carlos Ruiz (Jacquelin) of Ecuador, Pacifico Ruiz (Laura) of Ecuador, Mario Ruiz (Marcia) of Ecuador, Abraham Ruiz (Grimanesa) of Ecuador, Miriam Ruiz of Utah and Carmen Garcia (Alexis); and her granddaughters, Mariana of Shelton, Gabriela of Shelton, Helena of Shelton, Belen of Shelton, Angela of Shelton and Luisa Garcia of Shelton.
