We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Winfred H. Stearns of Winsted, Connecticut, born in Burlington, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stearns and Edna Stearns (Stokes); and his siblings, Evelyn Letarte, Clarence Stearns, Kathie Mills and Theresa Stearns.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Stearns (Kleinschmidt); his children, Matthew Stearns (Denise), Rebekah Wexler (Henry) of Winsted, Sarah Guenther (Joseph) of Winsted and Jessica Arthur (David) of Winsted; and his grandchildren, Zachary Stearns (Elyza Nadeau), Elizabeth, Jillian Wexler, Hannah, Olivia Guenther, Riley, Madison and Logan Arthur. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggested that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of memorial donations to St. James Episcopal Church, 160 Main Street, Winsted, CT 06098 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
