He is survived by: his significant other Marsha Lawton; his close friend Bill Sexauer; his siblings, Michael McCarthy, Val of McKeesport, PA, Eileen McCarthy Fitzgerald, Moe of Jensen Beach, FL, Maureen McCarthy-Magill and Tim of Bellbrook, OH; his nieces and nephews, Rista Malanca, Chris Palmer of Winsted, Kristin Malanca Sarcia, Carlos of Sandisfield, MA, Dana Jo McCarthy Webber of Winsted, Alex of Winsted, Bridie Lee McCarthy of Winsted, Kyle James McCarthy of Winsted, Michael L. McCarthy of Milwaukee and Matthew McCarthy of South Orange, NJ; and his great-nephews, Lucas Holda and Mac James Webber. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and an uncle.
