He is survived by: his parent Shirley Calkins (Simons) of Winsted; his sons, Justin Calkins (Julie) of Torrington and Michael Calkins of Torrington; his siblings, Gary Calkins (Linda) of West Hartland, Joan Ferrell (Larry), Alan R. Calkins (Bernice) of Torrington and James Calkins; and his grandchildren, Hunter Calkins of Torrington, Kaylee Calkins of Torrington and William H. Calkins of Torrington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
