He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shine (Blasco); his children, Sarah Stemmler (Michael) of Rocky Hill, Jessica Gerace (Jordan) of Boynton Beach, FL and Nicholas Shine; his brother Timothy Shine (Kathy) of Higganum; his nieces and nephews, Kelsey and Timothy; his aunt Lucille Stocking of Bloomfield; his grandsons, Brian Stemmler and Oliver Gerace; and his siblings-in-law, Andrew Blasco (Monika), Edward Blasco, Cathy Blasco, Maryann Blasco, Marie Messina and Irene Naumec (Ted). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
