He was predeceased by: his parents, Gelindo Tazzara and Wilma Tazzara (McCarthy); and his stepbrothers, Robert Hotchkiss and John Hotchkiss. He is survived by: his spouse Kim Tazzara (Valaitis); his children, Kristen Apruzzese (Jason) of New Hartford and Jeff Tazzara (Tara) of Torrington; his grandsons, Miles, Owen Apruzzese, Colton and Cason Tazzara; and his siblings, David Tazzara (Cynthia) of Winsted and Elisa Clark (Charlie) of Torrington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
