With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter S. Sobol Jr. (Winsted, Connecticut), who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Sobol, Sr. and Sophie Sobol (Koval); and his siblings, Helen Lekang, Jenny Juzwik and Edward Sobol.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine Sobol (Lambert); his children, Cheryl Deane (Michael), Mark Sobol of Winsted and Patricia Daveluy; and his sister-in-law Marianne Sobol of Winsted. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VNA, Union Street, Winsted or to St James Episcopal Church, Winsted.
