He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas MacBurnie (Margaret) of Winsted, Kathy Millsted (Charles) of Cummings, GA, Noreen Tinker (Richard) of Sandisfield, MA and Lorraine MacBurnie of Winsted; his stepchildren, James Parsons of Sandisfield, MA and Heather Parsons of Colebrook; and his stepgranddaughter Deonna Parsons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
