Ronald Walter Wightwood Obituary
WINSTED - Ronald Walter Wightwood, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home. Born June 4, 1964 in Winsted; the son of the late Robert William and Rosemary Ann (Whitman) Wightwood.
Ron worked for SKF USA Specialy Balls in Winsted for over 20 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a lifelong Mets fan. He enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes.
He is survived by his brother, Robert W. Wightwood, Jr., and his wife Cheryl; his sister, Linda Wightwood of Pittsfield, MA; and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cassandra Wightwood.
Burial will be held at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted in the spring. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements.
