Roger William Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger William Jones of Winsted, Connecticut, born in Unity, Maine, who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jones and Annie Jones; his granddaughter Heather Hayes; and his siblings, Fred Jones, Arlene, Janet and Sandra Jones.
He is survived by: his close friend Art Kratzert; his wife Norma (Winsted); his children, James E. Jones (Mary Jean), Stuart A. Jones (Ellen), Sheila Shea (William) of Sheffield, MA and Cindy Bateson (Neil) of Methuen, MA.; his grandchildren, Collin (Elizabeth), Siobhan and Connor (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia, Carter, Ryan, Luke and Ella; and his sisters, Carol Finkelstein and Barbara Adams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
