He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland H. Atkins and Minnie Atkins (Perry) of Winsted; his wife Victoria Atkins (Thiery); his children, Amanda Lee Atkins of Decatur, GA and Adam Preston Atkins (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Christopher of Harwinton, CT.; and his siblings, Donald L. Atkins of Winsted, Harry T. Atkins, Mary Goddard and Eleanor Fancher.
