He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Stacy and Mary Stacy (Valigursky); his daughter Melissa Stacy; and his sisters, Helen Maxwell, Doris Wetmore and Elizabeth Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Stacy (Varney); his children, Richard L. Stacy (Kathy) of Winsted, Teresa Stacy (Clinton Hoxie) of Winsted and Michael P. Stacy (Kim) of Winsted; his sister Barbara Reeve; his granddaughters, Melissa Woodtke (Rob), Rachael Grohs of Winsted, Amanda Hoxie of Winsted and Brianna Stacy of Winsted; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma Woodtke, Aubree Morin and Brooklynn Mallette; his sister-in-law Patty Sisson of Torrington; and his cousin John Gaura of Barkhamsted. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
