He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Noviasky and Sophia Noviasky (Hanecak); and his siblings, Joseph, Thomas, Andrew, John Noviasky, Anna Marnelli, Sophie Stoppa, Rose Blakesley and Mary Kelmellis.

He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Broughton (Dorothea) of Paint Lick, KY, Mark Noviasky (Dale) of Southington, Ruby Faye Noviasky of Winsted, Matthew Noviasky (Genevieve) of Winsted and Mitchell Noviasky of Winsted; his grandchildren, Clovet, Ruby Faye, Margaret, Brandy and Calista; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Gage and Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony School, in care of St. Joseph Church.
