The passing of Josephine DiMauro of Winsted, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John DiMauro; her parents, Santo Spada and Lucia Spada (Romano); and her brothers, Joe and Tom Spada.
She is survived by: her sons, Pat DiMauro (Mary) of New Hartford, Santo DiMauro (Lauren) of Winsted and John DiMauro Jr. (Lisa Papagna) of Winsted; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason (Nicole), Jonathan (Stefanie), Christopher (Kay), Christina and Chelsea DiMauro; her great grandchildren, Jack and Freddie; her siblings-in-law, Frank (Dora DiMauro) and Norma Spada of Colebrook; and her nieces, Josephine DiMauro, Marianna Vasiliou, Mary Lou Vasquenza and Elisa Hurst.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (31 Oak St, Winsted, CT 06098).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hartford Healthcare Hospice and/or St. Joseph Church, Winsted.
