He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony Cannavo and Emily Nanni Cannavo. He is survived by: his daughters, Cecelia R. Cannavo, Sophia Cannavo-Ostroski (Jessica Ostroski) and Tessa E. Cannavo; his former wife Theresa P. Cannavo; and his sisters, Joanne Marzullo (Frank), Terrie Walker (Peter), Marie Langill and Lisa Venn. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-neices and nephews, great-uncle and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (186 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
