He is survived by: his wife Doris Marchi (Loucks); his daughters, Susan Cummings (James Metro), Lisa Ackerman, Donna Marchi (Martha Misten) and Diane Strattman (Christopher); his grandchildren, Michelle Ackerman Clouser (Seth), Rebecca Ackerman, Sarah Ackerman, Zachary Ackerman and Alexandra Ackerman; his great grandchild McKenzie Hils; his pet Gracie Allyn; and his sisters, Angeline Lovetere and Esther Chirico. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
