With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean A. Sambursky of Winsted, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband John P. "Boston John" Sambursky; and her parents, John Alibrandi and Anna Bounazinga Alibrandi. She is survived by: her daughter Lucy Rouse (Sonny); her grandsons, Brian Rouse (Michele) and Matthew Rouse (Daniela); her great grandchildren, Arianna, Christian, Lucas and Sienna; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Vardaro and Felix Vardaro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, CT 06614). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
