He was predeceased by: his wife Florence "Mamie" Lawless; his parents, George Simons and Grace Gaghan (Perkins); his siblings, Ethel Ensminger, George Simons, Edward Simons, Beatrice Simons, Evelyn Rebillard and Beverly Foley; and his grandsons, Todd Wheeler, Peter Fratini and Gregory Simons.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Fratini (John), Doreen Beach (Jere), Richard "Chip" Simons (Mary Liz) and Elaine Gravel (Richard); his grandchildren, Sandi Lynn Scherer (Michael), Scott Wheeler (Allison), Amy Witmer (Michael), Amber Russell and Eric Gravel; and his siblings, Shirley Calkins and William Gaghan. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
