He is survived by: his brothers, Gordon and Douglas Griswold; his children, Warren Griswold, Steve Bardino, Pennie Zucco (Gregg Morrison), Scott (Holly Griswold), Mark (Heidi Parsons) and Kathy (Tim Nalette); his grandchildren, Erica, Vanessa Morrison, Natalie, Olivia Zucco, Corey Tucker, Jeriah, Shannon, Angelina, Mackenzie Griswold, Shelby, Trevor, Sierra Griswold, Jakob Parsons, Sam Martinsen, Clarissa Rice, Niki Nash, Eric, Kevin Flynn, Robbie Parsons, Rachel Romero and Esther Schwarm (Romero); his granddaughter-in-law Bonnie; his grandson Dennis Pedersen; and his great grandchildren, Jayden and Kullen Griswold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including a special niece.
