We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2020, at the age of 85, Dorothy G. Ellingwood (Winsted, Connecticut), born in Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Ellingwood; her parents, Clyde Powers and Ethel Powers (Carlyle); and her siblings, Norwood, Elwood, Henry, Nash and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Ellingwood (Tina), Randall Ellingwood (Doris), Susan Regner (Ed) and Sylvia Ellingwood; her grandchildren, Emily Hunter (Brandon), Michelle Guibert (Derek), Carolyn Regner (Alex Buley), Stephanie Chasse (Matt), Sophia Ellingwood and Jonathan Moss; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Sebby, Sophia, Holden, Trevor and Connor; and her siblings-in-law, Lorene Powers and Earle Ellingwood (Louise). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
