Deacon William Howard Wilcox Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon William Howard Wilcox of Winsted, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Mary Wilcox (Lachat); his parents, Howard Wilcox and Anna Wilcox (Day); his daughter Mary Louise Lavoie; his daughter-in-law Mary Wilcox; his great grandchild Adam Quinty; and his brothers, Elbert "Bud" Wilcox and Robert Wilcox.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Curtis of Vernon, Michael Wilcox (Linda) of Canton, David Wilcox of Winsted, Deborah Daley of Winsted, Theresa Drivdahl (Eric) of Barkhamsted and Donna Edwards (Kevin) of Granby. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, Winsted on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11 AM; the church will only allow 100 people maximum following CDC guidelines for social distancing and face masks required.
