He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ransom and Charlotte Grace Ransom (Sheldon); and his sisters, Virginia Butler and Charlotte "Grace" Jones. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Ransom (Fischbach); his children, Jill Carr (Randolph), Holly Schiffert (Robert) of Weatogue and Kurt Ransom of Riverton; his grandchildren, Heather Wolkersdoffer (Brad), Ryan Carr, Katherine Carr, Nicole Smith of Washington Depot and Kristin Smith; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Andrew and Mikeala; and his siblings, Stanley Ransom, Jr. (Christine) and Florence Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
