With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Carrigan Hoffman of Winsted, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Catherine Carrigan may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Allan Hoffman; her sons, Trevor and Jason Hurlbut; her stepson Matthew Hoffman (Kim); her grandchild Ellie Hoffman; her siblings, Evelyn Carrigan (Jeffrey Fuller) and Gordon Carrigan IV (Katie); and her nieces and nephews, Quinn, Liam Carrigan and Joseph Sweet.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
