She is survived by: her children, Paul Slater, Jr. (Karin) of Barkhamsted and Melissa Ortman (Edward) of Winsted; her granddaughter Olivia; her brother Edwin "Junie" Zimmerman; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Wilkins, Robert "Himer" Slater, Sr. (Bonnie) of New Hartford, Everett "Jake" Slater (Darlene) of Barkhamsted, Ellsworth "Unk" Slater (Pam), Skip Slater of Barkhamsted and Linda Slater of New Hartford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
