He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Julia Dombrowski (Hall); his parents, Joseph Dombrowski and Ceslawa Dombrowski (Banach); his sons, John and James; his grandchildren, Peter and Abigail; and his siblings, Edward, Laura and Wanda.

He is survived by: his sons, Joe (Anna), Jerry (Cathy) and Jeff (Paula); his daughter-in-law Andrea; his grandchildren, John, Stephen (Lauren), Jenny Dallis (Mike), Joanna (Chris Unick), Michael (Denise), Dr. Julia Vitali (Jake), Kristen Cramer (Andrew), James, Emily Lomuscio (James), Matthew, Jason (Stephanie), Andrew and Jeffrey; and his sister-in-law Helen Dombrowski. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (922 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (186 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098).
